Hamilton Smith-Rawnsley is a former patron of Veronica Fortuna and one of the richest people in Sector 45[c6p5][c9p6]. He spends most of his time out of sector.[c6p7]
Hamilton owns three Helpers: Andromeda, Cassiopeia, and Leo[c6p16]. He keeps them locked in a single room [c6p19] which they are never allowed to leave[c7p12]. He does not visit this room very often[c6p20]. He claims he is so busy he barely gets to see his Helpers, in spite of the fact that his "job" seems to involve throwing parties at his house[c6p13].
Smith-Rawnsley is fully supportive of the institution of slavery, and he claims it is "sad" that some Helpers manage to escape to freedom[c6p9].
