Zero Angiers is the custodian at O, Fortuna and a cryptographer and communications expert working for the Pioneer City Resistance.
At some point prior to 2068, Zero came to work aat O, Fortuna.[c3p4] She also joined the Pioneer City Resistance.[c2p2] Despite her involvement in the resistance, she objectified Helpers.[c1p17][c5p7]
In 2068, she brought Isabelle Monday, Veronica Fortuna, and Con Yung into the desert to hijack a crashed delivery drone.[c1p15] At the insistence of her colleagues, she hacked the drone to free Pandora.[c1p17] Zero watched Isabelle get close to the pod, telling her the gas coming out of the pod was harmless.[c1p18] Only after that did Zero remember[c2p1] to tell the others that the gas causes a Helper to view the next human they see as their owner.[c1p19] When Pandora declared that Isabelle was her new owner, Zero was the only resistance member who was not completely shocked.[c1p20]
