Sector 45 is one of the sectors of the United Sectors of North America.

The sector is notable for containing Pioneer City,[c9p6] and hence it is the setting of most of the story.
It contains a desert. The delivery drone carrying Pandora crashed in Sector 45, about 30 miles west of Pioneer City.[c4p21] Before the restructuring, the sector was known as Utah.[tfp2][c9p6]
Utah was the 45th state admitted to the union. As of Chapter 11 it is not yet confirmed whether the sector number is a coincidence.
