In 2021, I made a spreadsheet of all named characters who had appeared in the comic through Chapter 7 (the most recent chapter at the time). The purpose of the list was to help prepare for a series of polls to determine the most popular character in Pandora's Tale.
Pandora's Tale Volume 1 Character Tournament
After the tournament concluded, Xan released Chapter 8, and I updated the list.
Pandora's Tale Wiki opened on September 3, 2022, and the first content article was a conversion of the character table.
The wiki was originally hosted on Fandom. Initially, the wiki also covered the fictional aspects of Thinking Too Much to Think Positively.
Thinking Too Much to Think Positively
On June 12 2023, I got control of the subdomain pandorastale.miraheze.org. On August 24 2023, a copy of the database was imported from Fandom to Miraheze, and on August 31 2023, migration from Fandom to Miraheze was completed.
On September 29 2023, I registered the domain pandorastale.wiki, and on October 14 2023, Pandora's Tale Wiki officially migrated to the new domain.
On April 19 2025, I began the process of migrating the wiki to git, codenamed Project: Texts About Pandora. I initially used the Forgejo instance at git.average.name. I considered this conversion the first "engine milestone" for the wiki.
